Inter-Church Ministries partners with NYC’s Trinity Institute 2017

“Water Justice – A Global Theological Conference”

Thursday, June 8th, 2017 from 9 am to 2:30 pm

Venue:  The Cathedral of St. Paul, 134 W. 7th St., Erie, PA

Inter-Church Ministries is again bringing to Erie, PA the ‘best of the best’ video content from Trinity Institute as a partner site via live re-broadcast from Trinity Wall Street’s (NYC) Annual Theological Conference.  Join us as we listen to the distinguished speakers, like Barbara Boxer (four-term U.S. Senator, national leader on environmental protection and water justice), Maude Barlow (Blue Planet Project), Christiana Peppard (Fordham University, Just Water), LaToya Ruby Frazier (Photographer/Documentarian from Braddock, PA) and others… and engage in conversation in the local Erie context with a panel of local environmental experts.

“Water is life…The United Nations has declared water as a human right. Global markets regard it as a commodity.  Who owns water?  Who should determine access to water?  And what can ordinary people do to add to the conversation and make a difference?”

Register today:  Call ICM at (814) 454-2411 or email icm@icmeriecounty.com
