A Network of Christian Churches Committed to Cooperation for the Greater Good of the Community.  In Erie County PA and beyond, we are Working Together…United in Faith…

In Worship

Throughout the years ICM has brought the rich diversity of varying Christian traditions together in praise and celebration through ecumenical worship.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is celebrated each year, focusing on the peace and unity of the Body of Christ.  The theme for the 2012 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be based on Corinthians 15: 51-58.

In Study

ICM has sponsored and supported a variety of Biblical and theological studies, including the School of Religion, interfaith dialogue, and round table discussions.

The Fall 2011 Educational Lecture Series will feature Dr. Mark Allan Powell, Chair of the Historical Jesus Section of the Society of Biblical Literature.

In Service

ICM has been a catalyst in the development and promotion of many programs that address the needs of the community and its residents.  Through study, advocacy, and workshops, ICM has addressed issues such as children in poverty, racial harmony, violence against women, and special concerns of the mentally ill and of the aged.

ICM has sponsored or had significant involvement in the Caring Program for Children, Walking in Black History, The Task Force on Aging, and Coats for Kids.

ICM continues to sponsor the Voucher System for Emergency Assistance (VSEA), which provides participating congregations with a means to minister to the homeless and poor of our community. The Laura Wilkinson Memorial Fund provides grieving parents financial assistance for funeral expenses after a child’s death.
