at Abiding Hope Lutheran Church, 5312 Peach Street, Erie PA

Theme:  “What does God require of us? (Micah 6: 6-8)

Inter-Church Ministries of Erie County is sponsoring its Annual Ecumenical Worship Service in celebration of the “Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.”  The resource materials for this year’s service were prepared by the Student Christian Movement of India, in consultation with the All India Catholic University Federation and the National Council of Churches in India.  This year’s local celebration will feature:

  • “Voices of the Young Church” – from students in India to students in Erie
  • Traditional Asian Indian-Inspired Prayer Chant, Drumming and Sharing Peace
  • Music and Prayers of Praise and Thanksgiving to Celebrate Christian Unity
  • A reception with light refreshments and fellowship will follow the service

Let’s come together at Abiding Hope on the 27th to sing, celebrate and pray for Christian Unity!  In the words of the prophet, “What does God require of you…but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6: 6-8)
